UCO Bank Recruitment 2010: 1000 Clerk Positions Vacant!

NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- UCO Bank has recently announced the recruitment of 1000 clerks for the year 2010. Interested candidates can apply for the posts through the official website of the bank. Similar to the other banking recruitment programs, the detailed advertisement explains the procedure for recruitment. The last date for the online application is August 28 and candidates are required will be selected for the personal interview round after they clear the written test, the tentative date for which has been announced as November 14.

For the application, the candidates are first required to read the detailed advertisement carefully and then apply only if they match the eligibility criteria given in the advertisement. They can then download and take a printout of the payment chalan from the official website of UCO Bank. Depending on the category (Gen/ST/SC/OBC) of the candidate, they are required to make the payment at any of the UCO Bank branches across India. After making the payment they can fill up the rest of the application form that is available online.

Candidates are required to have a valid email id for further correspondence with UCO Bank. They will receive an admit card for the written examination approximately 15 days before the date. Candidates should also ensure that they retain the copy of the payment chalan as well as the printout of the application form till the written test. The vacancies are distributed throughout the various states of India and the minimum educational qualification required for the post in case of the general candidates is 60% in the Higher Secondary examination or a degree in any discipline.
