HONOLULU (GaeaTimes.com)- While the world is gearing up for celebrating Christmas and the new year, Barack Obama the president of USA has plans to stay far from the madding crowd and spend some quiet days with his family members. He has reached Hawaii on Wednesday the state where he had spent his young years. The Air Force One was seen touching down at Honolulu’s Hickam Air Force Base a little before Thursday morning. The wife of the president as well as his two daughters reached the Pacific archipelago earlier and the president stayed back at Washington to look after a number of responsibilities.

As a matter of fact spending the Christmas days at Hawaii is a family tradition for the president. Until he turned 18, President Barack Obama spent his years at Hawaii. It is not known exactly how the first family of USA will spend their time in Hawaii during the Christmas eve but it is expected that the president will play golf. He might also hit the beach with his daughters. It is also possible that the president will see the US marine base. The next 10 days are likely to be peaceful and relaxed for the President and his family. The daughters of the president have brought their canine companion Bo with them to Hawaii.

It has been reported that the First family of USA is spending their days of Christmas in Kailua, a small town outside Honolulu. The president may also see his relatives who stay in Hawaii. Even though he would be holidaying he will stay updated about political developments.
