Virginia Thomas Asks For Apology

WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com)- Virginia Thomas, the wife of U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Clarence Thomas has asked for an apology to Anita Hill, who accused Clarence Thomas of sexually harassing her 19 years ago. Virginia Thomas, the CEO of the conservative group Liberty Central has said that she has no intention of offending Anita Hill but she wants an explanation of the latter’s false allegations. However, Anita Hill called the whole matter “inappropriate” as she has no intention of apologizing.

Virginia Thomas reportedly told Anita Hill in the voice-mail that she wants the latter to consider an apology sometime along with a full explanation of the her allegations against her husband. Virginia Thomas also asked Anita Hill to give it some thought and she prays that Anita Hill will be able to tell her why she made all the wrong allegations against her husband. Later, Virginia Thomas justified her deed by saying that she wanted to extend an “olive branch”to her after 19 years to sort out matters with her. She also said that the offer “still stands” and she hopes that Anita Hill would be able to come up with an explanation.

Anita Hill, on the other hand told a reputed media source that Virginia Thomas‘ call was “inappropriate” as she had no intention of apologizing. She said that she testified “truthfully” about her past experience and she would stand by her testimony. However, Virginia Thomas said that she would be happy if Anita Hill meets her and clarifies everything. She even added that she has no intention of offending Anita Hill. However, the professor of Brandeis University declined to comment anything about it.
