NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Indian Railway is trying to woo the elite passengers in various ways and it is not limited to offering more trains and superfast trains in various routes. It is planning to offer the passengers on long distance and elite trains a new in house magazine. The plan has got the green signal from the Railway Board. Initially this magazine will be offered to the passengers of the various Shatabdi Express and Rajdhani express trains.

If the new plan of the Indian Railways gets good response from the passengers it may be introduced in other super fast trains. The magazine that will be offered to the passengers will have various types of contents and will also have information on the various types of news on railways itself. In that way it will be an indirect promotion tool for the railways. It was also recommended by the new Railway Passenger Amenities Committee. The children who get bored during long rail journey will cherish this move for sure. Even the senior passengers will love to read books and it will prove to be a good time pass for them.

An official of the Indian Railways has said that this tripe of facility is common place in foreign countries. The foreigners who travel in the superfast trains of the Indian railways are also going to like this facility. The facility will be started in trains starting from New Delhi initially and then the other routes will be covered. This is a more practical effort on the part of the railways to redeem its image.
