Indian Railway Wins Over CWG OC

NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Indian Railway has achieved what the Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee (OC) has failed to do. The delegates and athletes who have come to the capital have expressed their satisfaction after traveling in the Taj Commonwealth Special Shatabdi train. The train runs between Agra and Delhi and it is already a hit with the foreign athletes and delegates. They were pleasantly surprised after taking the ride. After the shoddy management and poor hygienic condition that is said to have prevailed in the village, the state of the art train with modern amenities and pleasant decorations was a surprise for them. They seemed happy after availing the ride.

The CWG athletes can ride the train for free and the expense of the service will be borne jointly by the OC and the Ministry of Indian railways. The railways has taken special care to provide the waiters serving the passengers of the train with proper attire and it has undergone strict inspection for hygiene and cleanliness. The menu which is being offered in the train is a blend of continental and traditional Indian recipes which has found favor with the foreign delegates and players. The items that are being offered to the passengers on the train are paneer tikkas, chicken tikkas, hash browns, sandwiches, buns and croissants. The food has been kept devoid of excess spice to suit the taste of the foreign delegates.

Apart from the main dishes, the Indian railway officials have also arranged for Indian sweets and desserts on the menu of Taj Commonwealth Special Shatabdi train. The train has also been decorated aesthetically.
