UP CM Mayawati inspects development works in Faizabad

FAIZABAD - Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati visited Faizabad district on Sunday to review the development works and the law and order situation.

Mayawati, who visited the district hospital here, expressed annoyance over untidy premises and unsatisfactory cleanliness in the wards.

It has been reported that the Chief Minister also lashed out at the Chief Medical Superintendent over the condition of the hospital.

She also inspected the Kotwali Police Station here and asked the officers and jawans to improve the law and order in the district.

Mayawati also visited a government primary school and reviewed implementation of the mid-day meal scheme.

The Chief Minister, who also paid a visit to the Kanshiram Urban Poor Housing Society in Ayodhya, ordered the construction of an over head water tank with immediate effect to ensure that water supply is available to the residents all the time.

She also took note of the development work in Ambedkar village at Milkipur during her inspection visit. (ANI)
