Tourists in Kashmir complain of poor infrastructure facilities.

RAJOURI - Tourists in Jammu and Kashmir have complained about poor infrastructure facilities at Tata Pani, a hot water spring.

Many women tourists have said there are no proper arrangements of toilets.

Saira Sheikh, a tourist, said: “People come here in large numbers and there should be proper infrastructure facilities such as ladies’ and gents’ toilets, rooms, etc. Transportation is also a major problem”

Tata Pani is visited by people from all over the country.

Assistant Director of tourism in the region, Aasma Sher, said that due to the high tourist inflow, the existing dormitory is unable to accommodate everyone.

“The tourist inflow has increased, particularly in Rajouri district. Due to which existing dormitory is unable to accommodate them. We are planning to renovate existing dormitory ” said Sher.

Locals believe that the hot waters of Tata Pani can cure skin and bone diseases. (ANI)
