LONDON - Under increasing pressure after Chelsea’s miserable FA Cup exit against Everton, boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that he will not quit as doubts have been raised over his future.

The Champions League is now Ancelotti’s only hope of saving his job.

“I have never quit, resigned or walked out and I’m not in the mood to quit now,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.

“So I am not here to consider my position - it is the owner that has to consider my position, not myself,” Ancelotti said.

“I just have to work and try to do my best. This is football, you have to be able to manage at this moment with confidence,” he said.

Chelsea faces Danes in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Ancelotti added: “We have 180 minutes to win this game - and obviously keep our season alive.” (ANI)
