South Korea says two Koreas to hold military talks
SEOUL, South Korea — South Korea says the two Koreas have agreed to hold working-level military talks for the first time in two years.
The Defense Ministry said Wednesday that officers were to meet Thursday in the truce village of Panmumjom in the Demilitarized Zone dividing the peninsula.
North Korea had earlier this month proposed the military talks to discuss the two countries’ disputed western maritime border and anti-North Korean leaflets spread by South Koreans.
