Obama to address unemployment, then visit Gulf

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will address the latest unemployment numbers after a Friday morning tour of a Maryland truck dealership.

Later, the president welcomes the Major League Soccer Champion Real Salt Lake to the White House.

In the afternoon, Obama travels to Louisiana to meet with federal, state and local officials and assess the latest efforts to counter the BP oil spill, the worst environmental disaster in the history of the U.S.
