Obama aide leaving White House for Bloomberg LP

WASHINGTON — A top aide to President Barack Obama’s chief of staff is leaving for a job at Bloomberg LP.

The company announced Wednesday that Sarah Feinberg will come aboard next month as director of Bloomberg’s communication and business strategy efforts and will focus on expanding Bloomberg’s presence globally.

Feinberg also will have a senior leadership position in Bloomberg’s new government information division. She will oversee all Washington-based communications for the financial services company.

Feinberg is senior adviser to White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel and a special assistant to the president. She is married to White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer (FY-fer).
