Internet plea to save busted Oz banker caught looking at Kerr’s hot pics

LONDON - A website has launched a campaign to help save the job of the Australian banker who was caught live on TV while looking at near-naked pictures of supermodel Miranda Kerr.
David Kiely, a stockbroker with Macquarie Private Wealth, was said to have become an overnight online sensation after cameras captured him opening a series of emails containing photographs of Kerr while one of his colleagues, Martin Lakos, did a live television cross to Channel 7 news right behind him.
The bank adviser was reported to have landed in hot water with his employers over the footage that was soaring in popularity over the Internet and had gathered as many as 50,000 hits on the popular video sharing website YouTube, reports the Sun.
And now, financial website Here is the City has come up with the ‘Save David Kiely’ plea, urging Macquarie Bank to let him keep his job.
In their email petition, Here is the City writes: “Whether set up or not, Kiely was really only guilty of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. There but for the Grace of God.”
It added: “There’s just too much political correctness in this world anyway.” (ANI)
