MELBOURNE - Video footage of a topless young boy resisting a pat down at a US airport has sparked outrage and it was viewed on YouTube nearly one million times.

Luke Tait, a Utah Valley University student, filmed the incident while waiting in a security line at Salt Lake City Airport, US, on November 19.

“I was shocked and realised something crazy was going on, so I took my BlackBerry off the conveyor belt and started recording,” News.com.au quoted Tait as saying.

“The father tried several times to just hold the boys arms out for the TSA agent but i guess it didn’t end up being enough for the guy…

“The enraged father pulled his son shirt off and gave it to the TSA agent to search,” he stated.

The Transportation Security Administration said the boy was searched because he set off the metal detector.

“No complaints had been filed and the father was standing by his son for the entire procedure,” the TSA Blog Team said. (ANI)
