Ohio native, ex-Navy Seal among CIA workers killed

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A former Navy Seal and an Ohio native whose wife is expecting the couple’s first child were among seven CIA employees killed in a suicide bombing attack in Afghanistan last week.

Amy Messner of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, says her brother, Scott Michael Roberson, was working as a security officer for the CIA. Messner says the government notified his wife Wednesday of his death.

A memorial page on Facebook says Jeremy Jason Wise, 35, was also killed in the attack. Wise was a former Navy Seal who lived in Virginia Beach, Va., with his wife, Dana. He was working as security contractor.

The parents of a third man say he has also been identified as one of the dead. Harold E. Brown Jr. of Virginia is survived by a wife and three children.
