RIYADH - Saudi Arabia had proposed creating an Arab force backed by US and NATO aerial and navy power to intervene in Lebanon two years back and destroy Iranian-backed Hezbollah, according to one of the US diplomatic cables released WikiLeaks.

RIYADH - The US cables exposed by WikiLeaks "do not concern the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia", an official said after communications showed Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region urging America to attack Iran and destroy its nuclear facilities.
