RIYADH - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Tuesday laughed off the idea of leaving the country if former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin won the presidency.

At a town hall meeting with college women in Saudia Arabia, one of the students shot the defection question at Clinton.

“Does the prospect of Sarah Palin one day becoming President maybe terrify you?And if so, would you consider emigrating to Canada or possibly even Russia?”

The audience laughed, and Clinton also cracked up and said, “Well, the short answer is, no. I will not be emigrating.”

Clinton added that “It is part of the American political environment that people are always speculating on who will run for President. I’ve gone through that experience personally, so I’m very well acquainted with it.” (ANI)
