Five Maoists arrested in Bihar

CHAPRA - Five hardcore Maoists, including their self-styled commander, have been arrested at Chapra in Saran district of Bihar.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a hostel of the State welfare department and arrested the Maoists, including their leader Nakul ji.
“The police team acting on a tip off carried out a search operation in Ambedkar lodge in which one of the Maoists, named Nakul who has a reward of 50,000 on him along with four other Maoists were arrested,” said Superintendent of Police, A.K. Satyrthi
Police has also recovered a huge amount of cash from the arrested Maoists.
“Rs. 7,44,000 cash along with Maoist literature, compass, high frequency wireless sets, cassettes, CDs (compact disc) and several other things have been recovered,” added Satyrthi. (ANI)
