Restaurant manager killed in Delhi road accident

NEW DELHI - Vikas Aggarwal, a pilot working with the Jet Airways killed a restaurant owner in a road accident at Delhi’s Khan Market on Tuesday evening.

According to television reports, the incident took place when Rajiv Jolly, a manager at a restaurant in the market, got into a minor collision with Aggarwal. The restaurant owner Jolly then stepped out of his car and tried to beat the pilot, who was still inside his car, and moved forward.

Jolly tried to leave the spot when the pilot tried to stop him. he pilot then drove the car over Jolly.

The restaurant manager was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

The pilot has been arrested and a case has been booked against him for causing death due to negligence

Police officials, however, said it is not clear if Aggarwal meant to run over the manager, or whether it was an accident. (ANI)
