PESHAWAR - Six suspected terrorists were killed in a US drone attack on a vehicle in North Waziristan, according to intelligence officials.
The drone fired four missiles at the vehicle and a house in the Pakistani tribal region on Friday. The identities and nationalities of the suspected terrorists killed in the attack were not known, the officials added.
“US drones fired four missiles, targeting a vehicle and a house,” the Daily Times quoted a local security official, as saying.
“So far five bodies have been recovered,” he said, adding, “Taliban have surrounded the area and there are fears the final toll may go up.”
The area is dominated by militants, who are loyal to Hafiz Gul Bahadur, a prominent militant commander focused on battling foreign troops in Afghanistan. (ANI)
