Honda sales rise 26 percent in September, Acura division jumps

TORRANCE, Calif. — Honda said Friday that its U.S. sales rose 26 percent in September from a year earlier with a big growth in its Acura division.
BY THE NUMBERS: Honda said U.S. sales rose to 97,361 vehicles. Sales in the Acura division rose 47.7 percent to 10,720 vehicles and the Honda division’s sales rose 23.8 percent to 86,641.
TOP SELLERS: Honda’s Accord was the top-selling model for the month with sales of 24,127, followed by the Civic, which sold 18,637.
