Cops probe dead suspect’s link to 2 more bodies

VALLEJO, Calif. — Authorities have found the bodies of two missing women inside a Northern California home, and they believe the deaths are connected to a suspect killed by officers the night before.

A bomb squad was called to the Vallejo home Wednesday morning to handle explosive materials also found there.

Police say the bodies were of Segundina Allen and Marcaria Smart, both reported missing a week ago.

The discovery came just hours after California Highway Patrol officers shot and killed Efren Valdemoro after a high-speed chase that ended in a Richmond strip mall.

Valdemoro had been wanted in the death of a Hercules man, and officers also found the body of Valdemoro’s girlfriend inside his car Tuesday night.

At least one other person — the son of the Hercules victim — remains missing.
