Londoners hardly know their neighbours

LONDON - People in London hardly know their neighbours. They can recall only the first names of a maximum of six people who live next door.
On an average, Britons living in urban areas can name only eight neighbours compared to 14 in rural areas, the Daily Express reported.
A study conducted by Gumtree.com says Londoners are mostly on “first name terms” with only six neighbours compared to nine in Manchester and 11 in Glasgow.
