Clarification: Congress-Discrimination

WASHINGTON — In a story July 13, The Associated Press quoted Tamara Chrisler, executive director of the Congressional Office of Compliance, as saying she didn’t know whether accusations that former Rep. Eric Massa, D-N.Y., sexually harassed male employes had spurred other harassment complaints.

Chrisler declined to say if her office had received or investigated complaints about Massa. The House ethics committee, which is separate from the Office of Compliance, is conducting its own investigation of whether anyone covered up Massa’s alleged conduct.
