Obama and Netanyahu to meet in Oval Office

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama sits down Tuesday with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as part of the effort to revive Middle East peace talks.

Obama and Netanyahu will meet for about an hour before holding a midday gathering with a few reporters in the Oval Office. The two leaders will then have a working lunch.

Late in the afternoon, the president will meet with Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
