Pitney Bowes promotes 2 executives

STAMFORD, Conn. — Mail and document-management company Pitney Bowes Inc. said Friday it promoted two of its executives to expanded senior leadership roles.

Vicki O’Meara was named president of Pitney Bowes Management Services and Government & Postal Affairs. She joined the company in 2008 as executive vice president and chief legal and compliance officer, the company said.

She succeeds David Dobson, who is leaving to pursue a role at another company. O’Meara’s legal and compliance responsibilities will be filled on an interim basis by Johnna Torsone, Pitney Bowes’ chief human resources officer.

John O’Hara was named vice president and president of Pitney Bowes Business Insight. He previously served as executive vice president and general manager of the international operations of PBBI.

He succeeds Mike Hickey, who is leaving to pursue a career as a consultant and university lecturer.

Pitney Bowes shares fell 2 cents to close at $23.11.
