American Vanguard elects 2 new board members

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — American Vanguard Corp., a company that supplies agricultural chemicals, said Friday it has elected two new board members.

The additions are Alfred F. Ingulli, most recently executive vice president at chemicals manufacturer Crompton Corp., and Esmail Zirakparvar, who has held various executive positions at the crop science company Bayer CropScience AG, a unit of Bayer AG.

American Vanguard shares fell 9 cents to $7.86 in morning trading amid broader market losses.
