Obama says grateful for Blair’s leadership
WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama says he is grateful for the leadership of his outgoing intelligence director, Dennis Blair.
Blair announced Thursday that he is resigning, effective May 28.
Obama said in a statement that the intelligence community has performed admirably and effectively under Blair, despite many challenges to the nation’s security.
