Hip-hop mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS and singer JOHN LEGEND were among the stars who turned out to support a young entrepreneurs event in Washington, D.C. on Saturday (15May10).

Malin Akerman, Kristin Bell and Olivia Munn also attended the DC10 Summit Series bash, which helps talented youngsters get ahead in business.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton mentioned Simmons in his empowerment speech - a tribute which left the star feeling “honoured”.

And Bell admits she was similarly in awe at the convention.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, Bell writes, “DC10 summit series… My mind is officially blown. The DC10 summit series is a conference for young entrepreneurs, not sure why they let me in since I can’t even spell. We raised 340K ($340,000) for (the) Invisible Children (charity) here at the summit series.”
