Sarkozy’s dad unveils exhibit of digital paintings
PARIS — French President Nicolas Sarkozy likes his father’s paintings more than his tell-all writings.
Pal Sarkozy is unveiling an exhibit of digital fine art across the street from the French presidential palace. They feature images of women, religion and his life as an immigrant.
He told The Associated Press on Friday that Nicolas Sarkozy “likes my writings less than my paintings.”
Pal Sarkozy released an autobiography last month that recounts his life as a womanizer, ranging from his first sexual experience to various extramarital affairs.
The exhibit includes a digital painting of first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. But the artist left out a portrait of Nicolas Sarkozy, saying its celebrity stature detracted from the other works.
