Security lockdown lifted at Tampa airport terminal

TAMPA, Fla. — A security lockdown is over at one terminal of Tampa International Airport.

Airport officials gave the all clear Wednesday afternoon about an hour after they barred passengers from leaving or entering one of the four terminals because of an unspecified security incident.

Airport spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan said the Transportation Security Administration rescreened all of the people inside Terminal C, where Southwest Airlines and some Spirit Air flights are boarded.
