LONDON - A new exhibit at Kensington Palace will give visitors insight into the rich history of a building that was once home to Queen Victoria and Lady Diana.

Displays, films, interactive theatre and other tools will help transform the London landmark into an “enchanted palace”, organisers said Thursday.

Fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, for instance, created a dress for the show. The bedroom of Queen Victoria, who was born in the palace, can also be viewed.

The exhibit opens Friday.

Kensington Palace has housed many members of the royal family. Lady Diana lived there until her death.
