Aid group attacked in northwest Pakistan; 3 dead
ISLAMABAD — Police say gunmen have attacked an international aid group’s office in northwest Pakistan, killing at least three people.
Police official Mohammad Sabir says the attackers struck the office of World Vision in a remote part of Mansehra.
The gunmen carried grenades, and local media reported explosions had occurred at the site Wednesday.
The identities of the dead were not immediately known.
World Vision is a major international relief organization.
Taliban and other militants have staged numerous attacks in Pakistan’s northwest in recent years.
