WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama won’t get out of the White House on Tuesday, but he’ll be busy right into the evening.
In the morning the president will meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. After Obama and Vice President Joe Biden sit down for lunch, the president meets with U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk.
Later, Obama and Biden confer with Defense Secretary Robert Gates in the Oval Office. And in the evening, the president has dinner with business leaders in the White House’s State Dining Room.
The guest list includes members of the executive committee of the Business Roundtable.
