Cheney declares Barack Obama ‘one-term president’
WASHINGTON — Former Vice President Dick Cheney has told conservative political activists he thinks Barack Obama is a “one-term president.”
In a surprise appearance at a conference of the Conservative Political Action Conference, Cheney also said he believes 2010 will be a big year for Republicans, citing GOP victories in the Massachusetts Senate race last month and in New Jersey and Virginia governor’s races earlier as “enormously encouraging” for party prospects this fall.
Cheney had accompanied his daughter, Liz Cheney, to the conference as “arm candy.”
