In a memorandum submitted to the commission’s content regulation department director Eneng Faridah Iskandar yesterday, the MIC requested action against those responsible for the clips.
The first clip features scenes from a Tamil movie and the second one contains visuals of the Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF) demonstration in Batu Caves on Nov 25, 2008.oth clips have Bahasa Malaysia voice-overs.
“She has promised to investigate and take the necessary action,” The Star quoted Putera MIC coordinator P. Kamalanathan, as telling reporters.
He said the clips were discovered on Monday by a Putera MIC team of cyber-troopers who have been actively surfing the Internet the past few months.
