Obama to sign directive on tax-cheat contractors

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama goes next door to the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on Wednesday to sign a directive aimed at cracking down on tax cheats.

It’s directed specifically at tax scofflaws who get federal contracts.

Later, the president meets with senior advisers in the Oval Office, then delivers remarks at an event honoring National Mentoring Month. First lady Michelle Obama will speak as well.
