SRINAGAR - Curfew was in force in Kashmir Valley on Tuesday as a precautionary measure following the separatists' protest plan.
SRINAGAR - Life across Jammu and Kashmir's summer capital Srinagar was paralysed Tuesday as authorities imposed curfew in the old city while a separatist called shutdown marred activities in the other areas.
SRINAGAR - Recurring shutdowns and curfews in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir cost the State exchequer millions of rupees due to the absence of regular market transactions and tax collections.
SRINAGAR - Students in Jammu and Kashmir took out a candle light procession and prayed for the victims of flash floods that devastated the Leh region of the state.he students, all of them hailing from Ladakh, participated in the event in Jammu city.
SRINAGAR - Restrictions on the movement of people has been reimposed with a huge deployment of security forces as fresh protests were reported from various parts of Srinagar.
