MANAMA - The balance of power appears to be shifting towards Iran as the Arab World continues to remain politically unstable and shaken.
WASHINGTON - The United States State Department has said that it was "gravely concerned" about reports of violence in Libya, and particularly over the number of deaths in many parts of the country.
LONDON - Britain has cancelled over 50 arms export licences for Bahrain and Libya fearing that the security forces of these Gulf countries would use weapons supplied by London to suppress protestors, which might eventually give rise to 'prolonged regional or internal conflicts'.
MANAMA - Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa had warned senior US military officials that opposition groups in his country were receiving training from Iran-backed Hizbollah in Lebanon, the whistleblower website Wikileaks has revealed.
MANAMA - Thousands of protesters gathered at the main square in Bahrain's capital, Manama, in an Egypt-style rebellion demanding political reform and greater freedoms.
