WASHINGTON - A new poll has found that more Americans identify Ronald Reagan as the best-ever US President than Abraham Lincoln or Franklin Roosevelt.
According to a Gallup poll, when asked to name the president they regard as the greatest in history, Reagan finished first with 19 percent votes.
Reagan had served as the 40th US President from January 20, 1981, to January 20, 1989.
Lincoln followed him at 14 percent and Bill Clinton at 13 percent, Politico reports.
Roosevelt, who led the country through the Depression and Second World War, finished sixth, while Barack Obama was ranked seventh and George W. Bush 10th.
The poll was conducted from February 2 to 5.
The margin of error was plus or minus four percent. (ANI)
