President, Vice President greet nation on Milad-Un-Nabi

NEW DELHI - President Pratibha Devisingh Patil and Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari have greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of Milad-Un-Nabi, which is being observed tomorrow to mark the birth of Prophet Mohammad.
President Patil in her message said: “On the auspicious occasion of Milad-Un-Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet Mohammed, I convey my greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens.”
“May the message of universal brotherhood, compassion, tolerance and service to humanity preached by the Holy Prophet, guide and inspire us to follow the path of harmony and work for the welfare of all,” she added.ice President Ansari in his message said that Milad-Un-Nabi reminds of the life and spiritual teachings of Prophet Mohammad.
“I extend my greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Milad-Un-Nabi, which is celebrated to mark the birth of Prophet Mohammad. Milad-Un-Nabi reminds us of the life and spiritual teachings of Prophet Mohammad,” said Vice President Ansari.
“Through the message of love, humanism, righteousness and tolerance, the teachings of the Prophet continue to be a source of spiritual strength for all humanity. May the enlightened message of The Prophet unite us all and guide us on the path of peace and harmony,” he added. (ANI)
