LONDON - A man from Britain has been accused of leading a cult and using a 15-year-old schoolgirl as a sex toy in an occult initiation ceremony.
Colin Batley, 48, who along with other cult members lived in a cul-de-sac in Kidwelly, West Wales, has been accused of being the “evil” cult leader who first had sex with the child, the Daily Mail reported.
The court heard that the girl was then summoned to bizarre sex ceremonies where cult members would don robes while their leader read from a sacred text.
The victim was convinced that if she did not join in and take part in the ceremonies, cult members would murder her.
Once initiated, she was passed around as a sex toy, with the cult leader calling her to his service with a click of his fingers.
The girl, who cannot be named, gave evidence today via video link in the trial at Swansea Crown Court, in South Wales.
Six people including Batley deny a total of 46 sex offences starting at addresses in London and eventually transferring to Kidwelly.
His wife Elaine Batley, 47, Sandra Iveson, 45, Jacqueline Marling, 42, and Shelly Millar, 35, all lived at separate addresses in the same cul-de-sac.
Batley and the four women deny 33 charges including rape, indecent assault, forcing a girl to work as a prostitute and inciting a child to have sex.
He denies a further 12 charges of possessing indecent images of an underage girl.
Vincent Barden, 70, of Kempston, Bedfordshire, has admitted assaulting an underage girl but denies a single rape charge. (ANI)
