CANBERRA - Passengers on a Melbourne-bound V Australia flight were almost flying around the cabin after plane hit unexpected turbulence.

Ambulance crews were called to attend a number of injured passengers after the arrival of flight VA20 from Phuket in Thailand as it landed at Tullamarine at 7.40 this morning, news.com.au reports.

A mother of three children on board said that she had struggled to hold her children down in their seats to stop them flying around the cabin, and added that it was the scariest flight she had been on.

“They may try and say it was turbulence but something was wrong. We weren’t just going down. The plane was nosediving. My daughter said: ‘are we landing now mummy’, that’s what it felt like,” she added.

Passengers were reportedly held on the plane for about 20 minutes while medical checks were carried out onboard. (ANI)
