LONDON - ‘Generals’ have become a burden on Pakistan instead of rendering their services to the motherland, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said.

In his telephonic address to a luncheon hosted in the honour of journalists, Altaf said it would be an honour for him if his death could bring a revolution in the country, Geo News reported.

He called upon what he said literate, honest and disciplined people from the poor and middle classes to come forward and salvage Pakistan from the current crisis.

“It was establishment and its paid writers who misled and incited innocent people against MQM,” Altaf said.

Now, ‘Generals’ have not only joined hands with capitalists and feudals, but also made family relations with them, he added.

The MQM chief also said: “I am a Jatt who utters whatever comes to his mind.” (ANI)
