Ex Governor Mark Sanford pictured holidaying with ’soul mate’ mistress

LONDON - Former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford was photographed holidaying with the woman, who cost him his marriage and his career and who he calls as his “soul mate”.

Sanford, 50, was photographed walking hand in hand and frolicking on the beach in Punta del Este in Uruguay with Argentine Maria Belen Chapur, 43, and in one image she is seen stroking his thigh while leaning in for a kiss.

Chapur wore a string bikini as she sunbathed on the beach with Sanford, who looked like he didn’t have a care in the world despite recently retiring from public office, the Daily Mail reported.

Sanford’s affair with Chapur had been exposed when he went missing for several days in the summer of 2009. (ANI)
