CAPE TOWN - A rent boy who claims that Brit-Indian millionaire Shrien Dewani, who has been allegedly accused of masterminding his wife’s murder during their honeymoon, paid him for sex has been quizzed for two days by South African police.

According to the Sun, the male prostitute from Munich calls himself The German Master.

Senior South African investigator Lieutenant Colonel Mike Barkhuizen and Scotland Yard detectives went to his UK home to seek proof of his alleged contacts with Shrien.

Shrien, who is currently facing extradition to South Africa, denies being gay, and claims that he and Anni were “blissfully happy”.

The rent boy claims that he was paid 1,100 pounds for three sex sessions with Dewani in Britain.

He has signed a statement, and been warned he may need to give evidence at a South African trial.

South African police had earlier said that they have established an alleged motive for Shrien to kill Anni, and may reveal it in court today.

Shrien and Anni were two weeks into their Cape Town honeymoon when the taxi they were in was hijacked in the Khayelitsha township by two men armed with guns on November 13 last year.

The 28-year-old Anni was shot dead by the robbers, but Shrien was released unharmed.

Shrien was later arrested in the UK on suspicion of conspiring to have his wife killed.

The 31-year-old is due to appear in a British court for a preliminary extradition hearing today.

His lawyers will argue that there is no proper evidence against him and that his case will be prejudiced in South Africa, where trials are conducted by a judge without a jury. (ANI)
