California Super Storm Predicted

SACRAMENTO (GaeaTimes.com)- California is being expected to go through a winter deluge after scientists recently announced of the news of a fretful winter super storm. The storm is being expected to land in the US Western state in a few weeks. A team of scientists at the U.S. Geological Survey said that they are expecting a catastrophic storm which is also likely to bring along an earthquake along with itself.
Earthquakes are not some thing uncommon in California. However, this time a deadly weather prediction has been fore-casted. This devastating super storm will not only bring an earthquake and storm it will also bring the city the threat of landslides and massive flooding. Californians, however, are not new to the threat of landslides but together so many natural calamities have wreaked an obvious havoc amongst the natives. The team of 17 researchers have fore-casted that the storm in all chances will be lasting for more than a month, reminding the Californians of the dreadful natural disaster that struck the state way back in 1861 and 1862 when the storm had taken place for 45 days. This storm is being counted as the ‘ARkStorm’ where the ‘A’ and the ‘R’ stand for the atmospheric river.
If the weather fore-cast of this super storm turns to be true then the state will be going through a major loss. The report that the U.S. Geological Survey released on Thursday tells that they are expecting an approximate loss of $300 billion. This time scientists fear that the flood water level will not be in inches instead it will be in feet, as high as 10ft! With the weather alarm and a weeks left for, beforehand necessary preparations and security are being taken in California.
