Lynn Schnurnberger’s latest book talks about cougar call girls

NEW YORK - Even before former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer’s prostitute scandal made headlines, Lynn Schnurnberger had begun writing her new book about cougar call girls.
‘The Best Laid Plans’ describes the story of Truman (Tru) Newman, an upper East Side housewife strapped for cash after her banker husband gets fired.
Tru sets up an elite prostitution ring designed for 30-year-old clients who are looking for women aged 40.
The ‘cougar call girls’ pull in thousands of dollars, and the mild-mannered mother of two finds herself on an adventure straight out of the tabloids.
“I was on chapter five when Lehman Brothers collapsed, and all of a sudden it became more universal. … Then when Eliot Spitzer happened, I started to think I was either prescient or I had magical powers and I’d better not write anything else bad,” the New York Daily News quoted Schnurnberger, as saying.
She however, admitted that the takedown of Client 9, as Spitzer was identified, provided rich material for the book. (ANI)
