SYDNEY - Model turned fashion designer Megan Gayle has revealed that she is ecstatic to have been chosen to host the third season of Project Runway Australia.
Gayle, will replace Kristy Hinze, 31, after she beat a host of Australian fashion beauties.
“I feel it is something that sits extremely well with what I do, having worked almost two decades in the fashion industry and now as a creative director and designer of my own label,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as saying.
“There’s advice that I can give, but I think there will much more that I can learn about fashion via this show and add it to what I already know, which will be an incredibly positive thing,” she stated.
Executive Director of Television at Foxtel, Brian Walsh, says Gale’s extensive international fashion credentials and star status, along with her down-to-earth Australian sensibilities make her a perfect fit to take Project Runway Australia into a fresh new phase. (ANI)
