PYONGYANG - A North Korean-registered cargo ship sank in the Yellow Sea on Friday, killing two sailors. Fifteen others are reported missing.

According to The Star, the “Kang Bong” sank on early Friday morning after water entered the ship with the help of strong gales.

The ship, with 20 people onboard, was travelling 120 nautical miles (190 km) east of Lianyungang Port in eastern China’s Jiangsu Province.

Three people were rescued by a ship. Helicopters are still searching for the missing, but are being hampered by the strong winds. (ANI)
