Rock ‘N’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon Winners Announced

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Rock ‘n” Roll Las Vegas Marathon is an annual Marathon foot-race run in and around Las Vegas. With much felicity and fanfare the marathon kicked off on Sunday where nearly 28,000 people participated. Dorota Gruca won the marathon and at the same day she celebrated her 40th birthday. Josh Cox, who is the resident of Mammoth Lakes, California effortlessly won the marathon in 2:25:05.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon witnessed Dorota Gruca completing her 26.3 mile marathon in 2:44:36. The birthday girl told a reputed media source that this was a great gift for her on her birthday. She said that her nerve pain slowed down her pace at around 20 mile point line but she was content with her own performance. On the other hand, Josh Cox could not hide his excitement and said that when someone wants to make a move, he should make it definitely so that the other runners in the competition is hurt mentally. The male winner said that he was keeping his pace under control and hence he was taking one mile at a time. He also added that the whole process was hard but ultimately he was able to complete it and win it.

Josh Cox also said that he is all set to celebrate the important day in his life and he is happy that he could beat all his fellow contestants and win the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon at the end of the day. The winners were awarded $22,000 dollars in the marathon. Dorota Gruca previously won Las Vegas marathon about five years ago and she has even competed in the Bejing Olympic marathon where she represented Poland.
